Thank you to all of my supporters and friends who came out to vote on Election Day 2009 and who have stood by me over the last six years!
As many of you already know, sometimes things happen for a reason... And, the result of my bid for re-election on Tuesday may be a blessing for me. So, I really cannot complain nor have any regrets about it because this is what my faith is all about.
However, I do want to acknowledge the many of you who have called, written, or reached out to express your disappointment or just to say hello. Please rest assured that I am doing fine and that the experience of serving the Good people of Rutherford overrides any loss. And, I expect to continue to be involved very much in the community, as I had been prior to my council position, in many ways including my service to the seniors and other charitable causes.
Again, many thanks to all of you who continue to support me with your kind words and good intentions. And, remember that Rutherford is a special place and community - where through the hard work and sacrifice of its many volunteers, Rutherford's character is unique in that way.
I am sure that I will see many of you soon and that our paths will certainly cross again in the near future.
