Do You Need Help in these Tough Times?

Did you recently lose your job?

Do you need help finding a new job?

Do you need help either short term or long term with paying your bills?

Do you need assistance with heating your home?

Do you need assistance feeding your family?

Is your house nearing or in foreclosure?

Are you feeling overwhelmed by all or any of the statements above?

Do you need someone to talk to for some guidance or direction?

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

There are many families right here in our community that have been affected by the economic recession and continued contraction.

It is time for us, as we have always done in this community, to reach out to our neighbor - and be cognizant of the fact that there may be people (neighbors) hurting that may not know where to turn, or how to ask for help.

I am listing as many local, county, state and non-profit resources that may be able to help those who are in need, and I will keep updating this section of the website as new resources become available.

"May each of us find it in our hearts to reach out to help those that are in need."

Employers: Why Not Post Available Job Positions at St. Mary?

"JOBS! - Each day, The Church of St. Mary receives telephone calls asking if we know of anyone hiring? Or, have we heard of any available jobs?  If your company is looking for help, would you give us a call?  We would like to post available positions for those struggling during these difficult economic times.  Please call the parish office at (201) 438-2200 should you have any information that would be useful to those without jobs."

Unemployed?  What About Volunteering to Gain that Edge?

If you've never been involved in community service before, volunteering as an individual may be a good place to start. Want to improve your computer knowledge? Well, you could get "free" on-the-job training by working at a local church office or animal shelter. Have you been out of the workforce raising children? Volunteering may be a painless way for you to get back into the routine before taking the plunge into a paid position.

And if you're looking for a career change, community service is a networker's dream. You can meet people who may offer opportunities you've never thought of... You can sample different workplaces and see how you like various fields. Your volunteering will definitely help others and may help you, too.  And, it's a great way to keep moving.

Debt Consolidation & Credit Counseling Services

www.careonecredit.com - 1.800.498.1134

http://www.christiandebtconsolidators.net/google/index.html
Christian Debt Consolidators consolidates your debts without the need for a loan. All of your outstanding bills can be consolidated into one, low monthly payment that will be catered to fit your budget. Your monthly payments can be reduced up to 60%. One of the best things is that most creditors usually reduce your interest rate to as little as 6%-9%. In most cases, the creditor will bring your account current and waive penalties and late fees. Since you will be making on-time monthly payments, the program will not hurt your credit rating. And, if your credit rating is already good, it will stay good. But, if it is not, this program will help to rebuild your credit so you will no longer be considered a risk, but a good paying customer. A true win-win situation!
